Ganja gas distribution network
Construction of 42 km of PE100 gas lines for residential districts.

A distribution network and more than 1,200 service connections were installed with Ø63–315 mm PE100 SDR11 gas pipes.
Several residential districts of Ganja either had no gas supply or relied on ageing steel lines. The regional operator decided to renew the network completely and connect new homes to it.
Work took place in narrow, lived-in streets, so disruption to traffic and daily life had to be kept to a minimum. With many line diameters and numerous service connections, materials had to arrive on time and in the right sequence.
Ø63–315 mm PE100 SDR11 gas pipes were supplied in line with the project phases. Small diameters were delivered in coils to reduce the number of joints and speed up laying. Narrow trenches and electrofusion joints allowed each street to be completed quickly.
42 km of distribution network was built and more than 1,200 service connections were installed. Residents gained a safe, stable gas supply, and the operator a corrosion-resistant, low-maintenance network.
