Sumgait industrial park

PE100 pipes were supplied for the park's water supply and SN8 corrugated pipes for its sewer network.

Water supply and sewer networks were planned for the first phase of a new industrial park in Sumgait. The businesses moving in needed an uninterrupted water supply and a high-capacity drainage system.

Sewer lines ran beneath areas used by heavy vehicles, so the pipes needed high ring stiffness. At the same time the construction schedule was tight, and materials had to be delivered in phases to several contractors.

We proposed PE100 pressure pipes for the water supply and SN8-class corrugated pipes for the sewer network. The light weight of the corrugated pipes made transport and handling easier, and push-fit coupling joints sped up installation.

A total of 25 km of pipe was delivered on time and the first phase of the park opened on schedule. The chemically resistant HDPE network is a durable, reliable solution for industrial effluent.
